PCN attends the inauguration event of the new anechoic chamber of the Telecommunications and Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory of Labelo.
On the 30th, the new anechoic chamber of LABELO Specialized Laboratories for conformity assessment, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, was inaugurated, expanding the range of services offered by its Telecommunications and Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory.
The event was attended by representatives of Inmetro - National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology, Abinee - Brazilian Association of the Electrical and Electronic Industry, ABNT - Brazilian Association of Technical Standards and ABRAC - Brazilian Association of Conformity Assessment.
The installation of this structure expands the laboratory's reach in Brazil for the segment, in response to the growing demand for testing on devices applied to telecommunications, favoring the development of new products, promoting innovation and competitiveness of the national industry.
The structure has an area of 430 square meters and was designed to perform high-precision tests in a controlled electromagnetic field environment.
In addition, it will also be able to contribute to the technical training of students and professionals in the sector.
The initiative reinforces the leading role of Labelo, a PCN Latin America partner, with over five decades of experience in the national scenario and a reference in the provision of conformity assessment services.
