Finding reliable conformity assessment services has become easier
During World Accreditation Day 2026, UNIDO launched LabNet, a searchable global directory of accredited conformity assessment bodies.
The initiative aims to reduce information fragmentation and enhance the international visibility of accredited laboratories and bodies.
It also has the potential to facilitate access for companies — especially SMEs — to reliable testing, inspection, and certification services, contributing to international trade and competitiveness.
In an increasingly connected global landscape, making quality infrastructure more accessible also means strengthening economic development.
