IEC makes FDIS of Amendment 1 to IEC 60335-1 on the safety of household and similar electrical appliances available
The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) has made available the FDIS (Final Draft International Standard) text of Amendment 1 to IEC 60335-1, which addresses the general safety requirements for household and similar electrical appliances. IEC 60335-1 is a global reference for managing risks associated with the use of household and analogous electrical products, and it has been adopted or harmonized by various regulators around the world.
The document is currently at the FDIS stage, meaning it is in its final phase before publication as a revised international standard. Early purchase of the amendment already includes the right to automatic access to the final version, in accordance with IEC Webstore policy.
