Public Consultation No. 35/2025 — ProDIQ Program under public debate
Public Consultation No. 35/2025 of Inmetro – National Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology – is now open, aiming to gather contributions from society for the consolidation of the Inmetro Ordinance establishing the Regional Development Program for Quality Infrastructure (ProDIQ).
ProDIQ emerges as a strategic instrument to reduce regional asymmetries in access to Quality Infrastructure, promoting local development and productive inclusion. The proposal foresees the creation of Regional Quality Infrastructure Development Plans (PRDIQ) in partnership with state and municipal governments, development agencies, and entities from the productive sector.
Key axes of ProDIQ include:
- Strengthening local capacities in metrology, testing, and certification;
- Supporting the competitive integration of companies into local and global value chains;
- Expanding the activities of regional laboratories and accredited services;
- Coordination with public policies for industrial development, innovation, and sustainability.
