On November 26 and 27, the 28th Telecommunications Products Certification Forum 2025 took place in Campinas, São Paulo. The event was organized by Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel), in partnership with Centro de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento em Telecomunicações (CPQD) and Associação Brasileira da Indústria Elétrica e Eletrônica(Abinee).
Marcondes Araújo, telecommunications specialist, and Matheus de Pauli, certification specialist, represented PCN at the event, which featured discussions on Resolution No. 780/2025, piracy, marketplaces, data centers, cybersecurity, conformity marks, and the Agency’s upcoming actions, including market surveillance and lithium accumulators for stationary applications.
One of the key highlights was the announcement of Act No. 18086, dated November 25, 2025, which approves the operational procedure for administrative processing within the Integrated Foreign Trade System (Siscomex) for import operations involving goods subject to Anatel approval. The integration aims to streamline procedures, enhance regulatory monitoring, and promote greater efficiency and security for industry and consumers.
