The Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) will hold, on March 19, 2026, a regional webinar in celebration of International Women’s Day, bringing together women in leadership positions within accreditation systems across the Americas.
The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Brasília time (UTC-3). Registrations can be made at the following link: https://lnkd.in/en9-9mGb.
The program will feature a dialogue among professionals holding technical and strategic roles in accreditation, addressing topics such as:
- women’s leadership in accreditation bodies
- institutional governance
- challenges and opportunities for greater participation of women in the quality infrastructure
- the impact of diversity on technical decision-making
During the event, the official launch of the “Women Leader Award” will take place, an IAAC initiative aimed at recognizing the contributions of women in conformity assessment across the Americas and the Caribbean.
This initiative is part of IAAC’s regional actions aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and promoting gender equity within the accreditation ecosystem.
