IAAC Event | Quality Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainability

The Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC) will hold today, on May 14, 2026, the webinar “Implementing Quality Infrastructure: Practical Cases in Environment and Sustainability: Lessons from circular economy, metrology, accreditation and procurement for tangible impact”.

The event will be held virtually, with programming from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM UTC, equivalent to 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Brasília time. Participation is free of charge, and simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish will be available.

The program will address how quality infrastructure contributes to sustainability agendas through instruments such as metrology, accreditation, conformity assessment, circular economy, and procurement, connecting trust, traceability, and measurable results.

Among the topics announced by IAAC are the relationship between quality infrastructure and circular economy, radiological protection, international recognition of accreditation, critical supply chains, and the performance of quality infrastructure systems in addressing sustainability challenges.

For professionals, organizations, and companies involved with certification, testing, calibration, inspection, accreditation, and technical requirements management, the event offers a valuable opportunity to follow practical cases and discuss the role of quality infrastructure in building trust in environmental and sustainability matters.
