Dominican Republic to Host the 34th IAAC General Assembly
From August 19 to 23, 2025, the Dominican Republic will host the 34th General Assembly of the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC), bringing together representatives from accreditation bodies, regulatory entities, and organizations related to quality infrastructure across the Americas.
The event includes meetings of Working Groups, Technical Committees, and the General Assembly itself, where strategic topics will be discussed to develop and harmonize accreditation processes on the continent, focusing on multilateral recognition, peer evaluation programs, and strengthening conformity assessment practices.
The IAAC General Assembly serves as a formal regional coordination platform, promoting technical integration among member countries and facilitating alignment with international accreditation forums.
