Changes to the Procel Seal application system
Last Wednesday (9), certification specialist Letícia Tascheto represented PCN Latin America during the presentation of the new Procel Seal platform, an event promoted by Empresa Brasileira de Participações em Energia Nuclear e Binacional S.A. - ENBPar.
The new platform, still in the development phase, aims to improve the Seal application process by computerizing the system. The update of the process aims to increase transparency and speed, with the expectation of reducing the submission period compared to the current one.
The Procel Seal will also be updated with the integration of QR Code, which will allow greater control and traceability of certified products, and will be accessible to consumers.
The Procel program was created in 1985 and the Procel Seal at the end of 1993, with the objective of guiding consumers, using simplified language, to indicate the energy efficiency of household appliances, directly impacting electricity costs.
The platform is expected to be launched in the first half of this year and training will be made available to guide users.
