The CEO of PCN Latin America, Kim Rieffel, participated in the event representing ABRAC - Brazilian Conformity Assessment Association, in the position of vice-president of Telecommunications, during the joint annual meeting of the International Accreditation Forum Inc (IAF) - International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), held between November 6th and 15th in Montréal, Canada.
ILAC and IAF bring together the most relevant accreditation bodies on a global scale and their joint assembly is considered one of the most important events in the annual calendar of the conformity assessment segment.
During the event, topics related to the certification of products, systems and people were discussed, as well as topics related to inspections, testing laboratories, calibration and verification and validation processes.
The event was attended by representatives of accreditation bodies such as Andrea Melo, Chair of the Inter-American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC), ETTY FELLER, Chair of ILAC, Marcus Long, Chair of the IAF Stakeholders committee, Emanuelle Riva, Chair of the IAF and also Israel Teixeira, Chair of the IAAC stakeholder committee and vice-president of laboratories at ABRAC - Brazilian Conformity Assessment Association
