Anatel highlights innovation and international cooperation at the world’s largest telecommunications event

Anatel participated in the Mobile World Congress (MWC), considered the world’s largest gathering in the telecommunications sector, held in Barcelona. During the event, the Agency highlighted the importance of technological innovation and international cooperation for the development of the sector.

Brazil’s participation focused on the exchange of regulatory experiences, monitoring technological trends, and strengthening dialogue with regulatory authorities, companies, and international organizations. Among the topics discussed were the evolution of mobile networks, efficient use of the spectrum, new digital applications, and regulatory challenges associated with emerging technologies.

According to the Agency, participation in international forums such as the Mobile World Congress contributes to aligning Brazil’s regulatory environment with global industry discussions, as well as expanding technical cooperation with other authorities and institutions.
