On Thursday, April 25th, at 8 am Brasília time, the Webinar will take place: SDGs and electrotechnology: driving sustainable development, presented by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
IEC is one of the most relevant organizations in the world focused on the standardization of electrotechnical systems. With influence on construction aspects in more than 90% of products available on the market, it is responsible for defining product conformity assessment requirements, including user safety items, performance and general requirements.
The Webinar will bring to the fore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), 17 of which are essential, defined by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The objectives range from issues of Health, Education, Social Equality, Circular Economy, Clean Energy and Innovation. Topics directly related to the PCN's performance in assessing the conformity of products and systems.
