Anatel - National Telecommunications Agency held, on November 16th and 17th, the 2023 Telecommunications Product Certification Forum in the city of Brasília, Federal District.
The event has great relevance for the debate about the approval of products with Anatel, as it brings together experts from the regulatory body itself; of product certification bodies; laboratory infrastructure, which includes laboratories and equipment suppliers; and also representatives from the academic sector, who presented their research related to the technologies discussed at the event. In this year's edition, the agenda was focused on the latest innovations in the sector, such as technologies based on OpenRAN, Wi-Fi 7, Artificial Intelligence and the use of 5G signal.
The specialist in telecommunications product certification, Marcondes Araújo, participated in the event representing PCN Latin America, which operates in the sector as a Certification Body Designated by Anatel and is authorized to conduct approval processes under the approval of the regulatory body.
In this sense, the approval of products such as modems, drones, vehicular environment chargers, 3, 4 and 5G modules, antennas, RFID communication modules and related devices are within the scope of action of the PCN: in genuine telecommunications products or in modules auxiliaries for the most diverse applications.
