Quality Infrastructure

With the concern to reduce the emission of polluting gases and preserve the environment, using energy resources effectively is an increasingly important challenge to be taken on. According to studies carried out by the International Energy Agency (IEA), in the context of energy efficiency, air conditioning plays a role of special attention, as the use of air conditioners represents more than 10% of electrical energy consumption in the world. In search of constant improvement, the industry has been developing solutions to improve the performance of these products, such as, for example, the dissemination of inverter technology.

Complex laboratory infrastructure is required to accurately assess the energy efficiency of these products. That's why LABELO Specialized Laboratories for conformity assessment, a strategic partner of PCN Latin America, recently inaugurated its new Energy Efficiency Laboratory for Air Conditioners. With cutting-edge technology, the structure now meets the test range up to 60 thousand BTU/ h and test, in addition to the traditional "window" and high-wall split air conditioners, also the Cassette and Floor Ceiling types.

Investment in laboratory infrastructure in our country is extremely important for the industry, as cutting-edge laboratories can, in addition to carrying out tests for product approval, serve as an environment for the development of research and new products, strengthening the national economy.
