Anatel holds workshop on cybersecurity

On Thursday, November 23rd, Anatel - National Telecommunications Agency held the Cybersecurity and Combating Fraud Workshop in the Digital Ecosystem.

Throughout the day, experts on the topic discussed a series of topics related to cybersecurity, such as the creation of a national cybersecurity strategy and cybersecurity governance to defend Brazil's critical infrastructure. Furthermore, topics related to fraud and cybercrime were the subject of debate.

In this sense, within the conformity assessment, a point of extreme attention is the dissemination of smart products, IoT, as they are another source of attention to prevent attacks, fraud and leakage of personal data.

To help prevent these situations, one of the tools used to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities is the submission of these products to conformity assessment. PCN Latin America studies and is attentive to regulations related to the topic, such as, for example, Anatel Act 77, which determines technical requirements that IoT products must follow to be approved in the country.
